Parking:
Public car park
Cape Town International Airport has approximately 2600 parking bays, all of which have shade-net covering. These bays run along the length of the airport, which means visitors and guests can park next to any of the terminal buildings.
ACSA is currently busy with the construction of a five storey parkade, which will almost double the parking capacity of the airport. It is anticipated that this R100 million rand project will meet demand for the next five years.
However, you can park anywhere without fearing a long walk to your destination – because the shuttle cabs that roam the parking area take guests straight to the right terminal building. Ten bus shelters in the public parking area have communication links that guests can use to hail the shuttles.
Parkers should note that the pay-on-foot system, which makes it quicker and easier to pay and leave the airport, means that no payment can be made at the exit. You can pay at any of the pay stations just outside each of the terminal buildings. The pay stations accept coins (R1, R2 and R5) and notes (R10, R20, R50 and R100). All major credit cards are also accepted. Parking tariffs are listed on the website: www.acsa.co.za .

Valet parking and lock-up garages
Cape Town International Airport's valet parking and lock-up garages are run by Katanga Executive Parking Services. It is essential to make reservations. For more information, visit www.valet.co.za. Tel: +27 (0)21 934 2240 or +27 (0)21 934 4810 or book at: info@katanga.co.za

Valet parking:
A representative of Katanga will receive your car outside Domestic Departures. While you check in and board your flight, your vehicle will be taken to Katanga Executive Parking's shaded parking area.
Upon your return to Cape Town International Airport, your keys will be at the Katanga desk in Domestic Arrivals, where you may also settle your account. Your vehicle will be parked outside Domestic Arrivals in Katanga's clearly marked parking bays.
This service costs R100, including VAT, per day or part thereof.

Lock-up garages:
You may drive to the Katanga Executive Parking lock-up garage; from there, a Katanga shuttle will take you to the terminal building.
This service also costs R100, including VAT, per day or part thereof.
Payment can be made in the Domestic Arrivals Terminal opposite the baggage conveyors.
